The journey begins in London, England. We then proceed west through Southern England before crossing into Wales. The religion of England and Wales is Protestantism and the currency is the pound sterling.
We then take a boat west to enter Ireland. Ireland is a very independent nation where the main religion is Roman Catholicism. Their currency in Ireland is the EuroDollar. We travel through Ireland, including their capital city of Dublin.
We proceed north crossing into Northern Ireland, an important part of the United Kingdom where the primary religion is Protestantism and their currency is that of the United Kingdom which is the pound sterling.
We then travel by boat east to the Island of Great Britain (which is the countries of England, Wales and Scotland) back into England before proceeding north to Scotland. The religion in Scotland is Protestantism and their currency is the pound sterling.

Today was another typical day in Ireland...rain and wind all day. We were given a guided tour of the city on our coach. We rotate seats on the coach, and this time I got to sit in the front seat, however, taking photos through the windows meant rain dripping down all of the windows.
Driving through the cities, we viewed the areas of the city that are still covered with empty buildings, but we also saw the affluent part of town where the buildings go back hundreds of years. Some still have the special front doors that were common at that time.

My Walk to Temple Bar & Grafton St.
See the link below that has more photos from the tour of Dublin.
The taste of beer is not a beverage I enjoy, but the tour of the Guinness factory in Dublin is one of the best tours I have ever seen. They presentations on the 8 floors of the building we toured was fantastic! It is a pleasure seeing buildings not destroyed, but still used today for a beer that started in the 1700s. You are know through the presentation that the production of Guinness is state-of-the-art, however, one can still see equipment hundreds of years old that are still present in the building.
I wanted to see two things before leaving Dublin: Temple Bar (an area of the old city), and the Grafton walk street.
My 4.5 Mile Walk Around Dublin
Drive-through Tour of Dublin
While walking around the old city, I found a beautiful, old Catholic church that has been abandoned. This is not the first, not I believe the last, old church I will see that has been abandoned.
The above 2 photos are incredible...it is water drips falling from the ceiling that form the beer pints and later ("water"). How do dropping drips of water form artwork and letters?
They had two floors that covered their advertising, including t.v. ads, that ranged from the 1950s to the 1990s.
They showed how their logo changed over the years.
Don't forget that "w.c." in England is "water closet" or the bathroom.
Looking out the windows of the factory!!
Looking out the windows on the 8th floor of the factory!! It has a complete view of Dublin!
There aren't many Mexican restaurants in Ireland. This is only the 2nd one I've seen... The Hungry Mexican.
Streets are very thin/skinny and are covered with coblestones.
I found a great gelateria in Temple Bar...Cloud Nine. Their list of flavors was incredible! I had the flavor called Strawberry Cheesecake.
I also passed The Temple Bar, famous for their music as I heard when walking by.
Please see additional photos of this area down below.
I then walked down to Grafton St., a walk-street for shopping in Dublin. On this one street, I found a couple Starbucks, Burger Kings, McDonalds, Subways, and even a couple Disney stores!
I have never had a problem with knowing my location in other places I have visited around the world, but I have had difficulties on the islands! I spent 3.5 hours to walk 4.5 miles on this excusion!
