We started another day of traveling up the west coast of Ireland by stopping in Adare, a village known for their thatch roofs from the Middle Ages. It also has a beautiful park with beautiful flowers. They also have a beautiful Protestant church! What a great historical city!

I had a German hot dog for lunch in Ireland.
The Cliffs of Moher are famous for their beauty! I did take my first march which is the photo below to the top of the hill. Of course it was windy and cold with constant drizzle...
Limerick, famous for St. John's Castle and St. Mary's Church!

Along the road throughout the day...
Limerick
Cliffs of Moher
...to view the cliffs protrouding from the land (photo below).
Built inside the mountains are the cafeteria, gift stand, etc.
Something new I found at the Cliffs of Moher which one of the guests on our tour explained to me because they are prevalent in Australia...a safe sink in the bathroom. It is safe because you don't have to touch anything!
Put your fingers under the center portion of the metal over the center of the sink and hot water pours on your fingers. Then move your two hands to the sides to the end of the two metal portions sticking to the side and hot air comes out to dry your hands! Incredible!
One of the most beautiful Roman Catholic Cathedral I've seen is also one of the newest...this is the Galway Cathedral started in 1959 and completed in 1965!
Galway
There is so much more to see in Galway, but no time today. Perhaps on my next visit!
This hotel was too far from the old downtown to return, and the restaurant was booked, so I went across the street and got a sandwich and a treat. I saw so many great historical sites today... magnificent! Today's sun did not set until after 10 p.m.!
